Welcome to the Tavistock Private General Medical practice, we are in the process of assembling a suite of services that will provide a private general medical service shaped by local interests and aspirations. The service will be a part of the new centre and staffed by local general practitioners with a variety of experience and interests. We will provide expert care attentive to your views in an unhurried and peaceful atmosphere. There will be easy access to appointments, plenty of time to discuss your problems and their management.
We will be able to look after the full range of primary care problems and have access to laboratory and investigative services both locally and further afield to provide as full a service as our clients wish. Investigations will be principally based on Plymouth and Exeter in the first place but more specialist services can be sought as required.
At first consultations can be booked at the practice without the need to commit to registering for long term care. A variety of packages will be available in due course as our clients contribute their ideas to the type of care they would like.
We are exploring a variety of web and email based software to enable clients to have consultations, order medication and discuss results either by email, phone or text message in addition to personal consultations.
